THROUGH OVER 55 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, TRANSPORTS AMBROISE BOUVIER ARE WORKING TO DEVELOP AND EXTEND THEIR KNOW-HOW.

Foundation

It was in 1959 that Maurice Bouvier opened his first business in Larchamp (53) on his behalf. In 1974, with his son Guy and his daughter Huguette, Mr. Bouvier founds the Société de Transports Maurice Bouvier (STMB).

Moving and development

It is from the 1980s, that the family business believes, including moving to Saint Pierre des Landes in 1980 and building a first warehouse of 1500 m² in 1989. That same year, Huguette Ambroise and Guy Bouvier take over the Bonnier SA company.

90s, years of growth

The 1990s began with the construction of a second 2,000 m² warehouse at Saint Pierre Des Landes in 1992. In 1993, Bonnier SA was renamed Ambroise Bouvier Transports. In 1994, the development in Brittany began by opening Ambroise Bouvier Bretagne to Pontivy (56). The year 1995 marks the cap of 100 tractors.

In January 1996, Ambroise Bouvier Transports bought Transports Galopin and renamed Ambroise Bouvier Froid. Anthony Ambroise takes over the management of ABF. Ambroise Bouvier Transports is elected "Carrier of the year 1996" by his peers.

In 1997, the administrative headquarters of Saint Pierre des Landes was enlarged by 100 m² to respond to the increase in activity of the STMB group.

In 1998, the Renault manufacturer, one of the main customers, awarded the quality award to Ambroise Bouvier Transports.

In 1999, Ambroise Bouvier Transports opened a relay and maintenance agency at Joué-Lès-Tours (37) in the former premises of Transports Corbin, which they bought that same year.

2000s, growth despite the crisis

Huguette Ambroise and her family decided to buy the entire STMB group in 2001.

In 2003, the group's development continued with the purchase of 39,300 m² of land in Laval's Industrial Autoroute Zone (53). The investment continues by building a cold store and offices for Ambroise Bouvier Froid to move there.

Three years later, the truck fleet reaches 200 units and an Ambroise Bouvier Transports agency is open in Le Mans (72).

In 2010, Ambroise Bouvier Transport opened another agency in Vitry-En-Artois (62) near Douai in June.

In July of the same year, Transports Hery et Fils are bought and integrated into Ambroise Bouvier Bretagne. There was also an expansion of offices in Saint Pierre des Landes (53).

In 2012, it is the turn of Le Ray Transport & Logistique to be bought by STMB. This acquisition represents a big growth for the group since Le Ray is specialized in distribution and logistics. This company has 30 years of experience in these fields.

In 2015, Ambroise Bouvier Transports received the Renault QSE Trophy (Quality Safety Environment).

This year 2017 marks a shift in technological evolution. The group is changing TMS (transport management software), modernizing its servers and deploying a fleet of smartphones in its trucks.

Finally Ambroise Bouvier Transport obtains the CO2 label in September 2017.
